Zaifi Group ("we," "our," or "us") built BuildMate Calculator as a free, offline construction calculator application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app (the "Service").

BuildMate Calculator does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app. All data you enter (room dimensions, material prices, project names, and estimates) is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

The app itself does not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage data in its first release. However, if distributed through the Google Play Store, Google may collect certain information as described in their own privacy policy.

2.3 Third-Party Services

The app may use the following third-party services that may collect information:

  • Google Play Services — For app distribution and updates
  • Expo/React Native — The framework used to build the app (does not collect personal data in our configuration)

Since the app operates offline and does not collect personal data:

  • We do not track your usage within the app
  • All calculation data remains on your device only

4. Data Storage and Security

All app data (saved prices, estimates, settings) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data:

  • Is only accessible by the BuildMate Calculator app on your device
  • Is not backed up to our servers
  • Can be deleted by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app
  • May be included in your device's local backup (managed by your device settings)

5. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since the app does not collect any personal data, it is safe for users of all ages.
